One of my favorite photography moments was a sunrise elopement in Sedona. Diana reached out to me about her Sedona elopement in the summer of 2021, and was open to recommendations for locations with breathtaking red rock views. After going over some options, Diana and her fiancé, Jared, decided on sunrise, and would hike the trail with me before dawn.
We arrived at the peak, surrounded by panoramic views of Sedona’s red rocks, with plenty of time for Diana and Jared to get changed into their wedding attire. We spent the next two hours capturing their love for one another as the sun kissed the Sedona mountains in the background. Diana and Jared’s elopement is the epitome of why I love photographing couples. They recognized what is most important in life – the love they share for one another – and decided to spend the start of their forever capturing this feeling in a photo to last generations.
